About the Model

The IWC Portugieser Yacht Club Chronograph (ref. IW390702) blends nautical function with classic design, distinguished by its silver dial and robust stainless steel case. Introduced in 2020 as part of the third generation of the Yacht Club line, it marks a subtle evolution of the series with refined proportions and an integrated steel bracelet – a first for the model.

Measuring 44.6mm in diameter, the case houses the in-house calibre 89361, a self-winding flyback chronograph movement offering a 68-hour power reserve. The chronograph features a co-axial totaliser at 12 o’clock and a running seconds sub-dial at 6, while a peripheral flange rings the dial with a red-accented minute track. Water-resistant to 60 m, it remains capable as a sailing companion while carrying the visual codes of the Portugieser lineage – slim bezel, feuille hands, and applied Arabic numerals.
